The idea of making a laptop table developed after observing for a while with my laptop on a table next to the scope. The wires leading to the TeleKit from the PC kept getting in the way, and would wrap around the scope as the night progressed. I discussed my ideas for a table with Alan Poppenhagen of AstroSystems, and he suggested utilizing the whellbarrow T-nuts to attach one to the rocker. I made some measurements, prepared a few sketches, and got out a sheet of scrap 3/4" Home Depot birch plywood. I also ordered eight knobs from Reid Tools.
